Key point: SipTracker includes an optional feature called Shared Room (temporary group sharing). Shared Room content (including nicknames and any images you upload) is designed to be temporary and is generally deleted within approximately 24 hours.

What Shared Room data we process

When you use Shared Room, we process the information you choose to share with other room participants, including:

Where Shared Room data is stored

Shared Room data is stored using Apple iCloud/CloudKit so that it can be accessed by room participants. Shared Room content is only intended to be available to participants in the room.

Room access

Shared Room access is based on participation in the room (for example, invitations and/or a room code). Please treat room codes and invitations as sensitive and only share them with people you trust.

1B. OPTIONAL ICLOUD SYNC

In short: If you enable iCloud Sync, your app data may be stored in Apple iCloud (CloudKit) and synced across your own devices using your Apple ID.

What is synced

If you enable iCloud Sync, certain app data (such as drink entries, session information, goals, and related app content) may be stored in Apple iCloud using CloudKit. This allows your data to sync across your own devices signed in with the same Apple ID.

Who can access this data

iCloud-synced data is associated with your Apple ID and is intended to be accessible only by you on your devices. We do not create a separate user account for you and do not require you to provide personal identifiers for this feature.

Apple’s role

Data stored in iCloud is processed by Apple in accordance with Apple’s privacy policies and terms. We rely on Apple’s infrastructure to provide secure storage and synchronization functionality.

Disabling iCloud Sync

You can disable iCloud Sync in the app settings at any time. If you disable sync, your data may remain stored locally on your device unless you delete it.

We may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights and safety of users, investigate fraud or security issues, or respond to lawful requests.

No sale of personal information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Shared Room retention: Shared Room content (including nicknames and any images you upload in a room) is designed to be temporary and is generally deleted within approximately 24 hours. In some cases, limited technical logs or backup copies may persist for a short period where required for security, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.
